A few words about this collection...
With the Summer 2016 collection « La Palmeraie » Valentine Gauthier takes us to Marrakech, the Villa Majorelle and its luxurious garden. The intensive blue, the palm trees, the birds and the butterflies, the oriental carpets as well as the South’s Flair are reflected in the collection by exclusive prints and embroideries. The natural shades of coarse silk, the kaki and the earthy red remind of the coloring of the cactuses as well as the desert’s sand. The climate and the legerity of the South are transcribed by Serge’s and Voile’s made of Silk, bast fibers and eyelet embroidery made of finest cotton. Valentine Gauthier shows her view and passion for artisanal arts by re-interpreting her emblematic pieces: from nonchalant Jackets to sweatshirts in vibrating colors as well as floating blouses and elegant Jumpsuits.
